Never regret in life?

This age that you have, this age you will have the most enthusiasm, brain cells and hair. After some years you will neither have that much enthusiasm nor brain cells and hair. This chance that life has given you, the threshold you find yourself at, I will only say this one thing to you… what ever you are thinking what ever comes in your heart, all your life do just that. Because when you will reach my age, or the age of your parents or your teachers, there will be this regret in your heart, why I didn't do that.

So to every boy and girl I will say this please at this age whatever comes in your heart, do it.

My father was very educated but he was very poor. He never got a job and he hardly ever had money. What ever business he tried his hands on, even after getting so much education, he remained a failure at it.

And since he never had money, on every birthday, he would give me one of his old belongings.

So the first thing that he gave me and he used lots of heavy “Urdu” words to impress me and make it seem important as to what a great present it was. The first thing he gave me on my birthday was his old broken chess set.

He used to play chess every night with the head priest of Hanuman mandir.

He told me that chess can teach you a lot about life.

1- Cooperation and how to work together and in team to win at something.

2- Sometimes to get ahead in life you will need to go back a little.

3- Those ordinary and small people that you think are pawns, respect them the most in life. Because no human is ever small always and you will need them someday.

4- Sometimes you get attached to someone or something (like the queen, which people usually get attached to) but in life you will need to even sacrifice that thing and person to go ahead.

The second thing that he gave me was his old type writer A lot of you may not even know how a type writer looks as you work on computers these days.

When someone wrote something on type writer and there was an error, it would take a lot of pain to correct it. So you had to be very careful while typing. You couldn’t make mistakes.

And we used typex to take the type out to take it out, our fingers would sometimes get stuck between the keys, so we had to to work very hard and with diligence.

When I learned typing on it while doing commerce, the only thing I realized is that practice makes you perfect.

So whatever you do in life, do it with diligence so that there is no mistake. Put all your brain and thinking into it. Do it as if this is your first work in life and you will never get a chance to work or may be it is the last work you will do and you will never get a chance to ever do it again. So do it with that kind of diligence.
